Mudra.D
Session:

My house is where the sunlight glows,
And Mum hums songs while making tea,
Dad laughs loud at something silly,
Our dog zooms past like he’s set free.
My room’s a fort of books and dreams,
I make up stories big and small,
I jump on beds like trampolines,
While my dog chases me down the hall.
The kitchen smells like yummy food
Mum calls, “Breakfast! Don’t be late!”
I sneak snacks to our cheeky dog,
Who wags his tail like it’s a gate.
The afternoon drifts slow and sweet,
Sunbeams paint patterns on the floor,
Dad dozes off with half a video,
While the dog guards the wooden door.
At night the house feels warm and soft,
Lights twinkle like a secret show,
I curl up close with my furry friend,
And that’s the place I love to go.
And when the moon climbs in the sky,
Our quiet home begins to sigh,
The dog curls up beside my bed,
Dreams swirling gently in his head.
The whole house settles, calm and deep,
A cosy world that’s ours to keep,
A place where every laugh and song
Makes me feel safe, where I belong.
