Mr Norja phoned our parents, explaining what had happened and how we ended up at the back seat of the Norjas’ car. As we arrived to the airport, we were just in time to hear bad news.
“There has been an air accident. 200 people who were trying to flee the country on a Qantas Boeing 737 have been shot down and killed by a Russian drone,” said the voiceover.“The drone has been shot down by our own military, but we know that there will be more coming. We believe the drone mistakenly shot down the aircraft, thinking it was one of our military bombers. No other Russian aircraft has been detected passing our borders.” But just as it finished- Whoop! Evacuated!
“Sorry. A bomber has been detected this way. Evacuate airport!”
Luckily, there were hundreds of exits at the airport, so we got out at one. We zoomed to the car, where we once again drove at a top speed away from the airport. Then a loud noise came overhead. It was the bomber! Suddenly, bang! The bomber was shot down. It was falling at an alarming speed. I covered my ears- Crash! The bomber came crashing down into the nearby river, following by to parachutes.
