Session:
The man jumped out. Or rather, stumbled out.
“Run!” We say to each other.
The shadow is following us, but much shorter, for some reason. Bang!
“Drop!” I tell Jason, ready for the bullet to fly past.
We duck, but there was nothing flying past us.
“You got got!” says a familiar voice.
Oh. It’s Jones. Not him! Jones is a skinny tall boy with fair hair. Suddenly, in a distance, we heard a boom and a crash! Buildings came tumbling down.
“I bet it was one of your pranks!” I said accusingly, “You won’t get me this time!”
“It’s not! I promise!” We ran behind a building, only to see a drone overhead, shooting missiles and bombs into buildings.
“Russians!!!!!!!! RUNNNNNNNN!” A chorus of cries came from nearby.
“What do we do?” asked Jones.
“I have an idea!” I exclaimed.
“What?” Jason and Jones said at the same time.
“Runnnnnn!”
Ever since the war erupted 4 years ago, Russia has become the most powerful country in the world. There has been strikes around the world. They are trying to invade the world. They have managed to drive China into their caves, and sent the United States dangling off the cliffs, Australia’s military doesn’t stand a chance! All the weaker countries in military can do nothing but to match their homes taken over. Now that we have been walking for half an hour straight, we passed lots of burning buildings.
“ Oh, I can see our home!” said Jones, “Oh, Mummy and Daddy are already in the car!”
“Jones, my darling!” Mrs Norja called out worryingly from the car, “ We’ve been so worried about you! Let’s get you and your friends out of here.”
Mr Norja was looking rather pale. Mrs Norja started the engine. We stumbled at the back. And we headed off to the airport…… To be continued.
