The Great Australian Dream

Home is the word, Home is the dream,
Creativity, freedom, enlightenment, It’s all part of the daily home routine
Home is a wonderful scene, Father sipping his tea, Mother reading a magazine,
Home is quite serene

Home provides everything, from small little things to huge, big things,
Food is one of those big things which helps us do many amazing things,
Fish and vegetables, a simple pot of food helps me get lots of energy to swing and fling,
Seeds and grains, a bowl exploding with ingredients nourishes the body, making it bling,

In my home, Steam rises as chickpea zeera rice is placed on the table,
I take my food and rush into the lounge with the TV cable,
The six PM news turns on, a disappointing fail,
I gulp down food, realising lots of work to do next, and its all detailed,

My Home is not only a place where you live, but also a place of sanctuary,
Conversation thrives, no right or wrong, time just flies
Children laugh, parents smile, this is our wonderful style
This is truly freedom at it’s highest level, my home’s profile

Home is a guide, a world full of advice and encouragement,
Love is at the centre of my home, a place where love enriches and provides the utmost nourishment,
Home is a place of support, a safe place for us all,
This is the place where comfort meets safety like the ground meets a ball,
This is my home, this is the great Australian dream,
