"Hurry up! Jump over the hedge! Dodge these rocks!" I called out brief instructions to Sophie as I ran forward. Behind me, an unknown creature lurked in the dark, waiting to strike.
The creature had two flamingo-like legs and long arms, excellent for bounding forward. It had put up a chase after us innocent girls had accidentally struck the monster looking animal in its furry, whiskery face with a harmless softball.
It chased us all the way into the deep, dark forest. All shades of green filled the space around me. A bright light shone from between the trees.
"What is that?" asked Sophie. Before I could reply, the light grew brighter, and brighter, almost blinding me. And then, BOOM! The monster just disappeared. It was like it never existed.
As the light crept closer, I realized the creature was a unicorn and its golden horn was the source of the light pouring out like a shimmering tap. As one solution was found, another was needed.
