My story is going to be about two girls who go on a school trip to London. While staying there, something scandalous happens, the King has lost a valuable, priceless item! The catch is, nobody, not even the King can put their finger on what is missing. The only thing the King can remember is that the item was something he and his sister used to play with when they were younger, and now he had kept it in a small case, built for a ring. The girls are thrilled, and want to help uncover the mystery, and they do….. In a way of their own. It turns out the item was something so unexpected that it seemed it was under their noses the entire time!
MY STORY:
I don’t know what hits me first when I walk out of the airport, the bright rays of London’s summer sun, or the nervous anticipation of being in a new city. I look over to my best friend Lola and we link arms, forging our way through the crowd of other Year 10 students to the front. In front of us are other tired travellers, grabbing taxis or hugging relatives. Our teachers guided us to a double-decker bright red London tour bus with an open top. The driver cheerily waves at our sleepy faces and we find our seats. Lola and I score some seats up the top and as the bus ambles through the busy streets of London, a gust of wind catches at my hair, causing it to fly over my face.
